Starting from a small mechanical workshop on the outskirts of Bergamo, Brembo has grown over more than 60 years into a global company, a benchmark for the development and production of braking systems for high-performance vehicles. This growth has led Brembo to engage increasingly with the territories and communities where it operates, and beyond, always striving to ensure a better balance between economic growth and social development. The company’s attention to the world around it reflects its desire to give something tangible back to the community and contribute to creating value through strong relationships within its local communities.
For this reason, Brembo has decided to support Bergamo Brescia, Italian Capital of Culture 2023, as a System Partner—an initiative of extraordinary importance that strives to gather energies and listen to the voices of the local communities where Brembo has its roots, promoting reflections on the present and the possible future.
The project is an example of virtuous collaboration between two urban centers that, for the first time, have been awarded the title of the sole Italian Capital of Culture.
This recognition honors the history of Bergamo and Brescia, their internationally significant cultural and artistic heritage, and at the same time, the inventive, design, and implementation capabilities of the people and businesses that showcase the craftsmanship and tangible excellence of the region. These values are part of Brembo’s DNA, a company always focused on innovation and research to create functional, high-performance products with distinctive design.
It is based on these shared qualities between the company and its territory that Brembo enthusiastically supports the objectives of the initiative, with a focus on continuous improvement and shared growth.
