Brembo is taking a further step towards more sustainable production by introducing one TeraWatt-hour (TWh) of green energy over the next 10 years to power its plants in Poland.

To put this into perspective, the average household consumes about 2,500-3,000 kWh per year. Therefore, 1 TWh - equivalent to 1,000,000,000 kWh - would be enough to power around 33,000

homes for a decade.

The green energy will come entirely from renewable sources, covering a significant portion of Brembo Poland’s energy needs. It will help power the company’s production sites in Dabrowa-Górnicza, Czestochowa, and Niepołomice.

This latest initiative reflects the company’s commitment to taking transparent and meaningful actions towards environmental sustainability, along with achieving concrete results.

At global level, 75% of the electricity used by Brembo comes from renewable sources, with a remarkable 100% in three countries - Italy, Mexico and Brazil.

For this 1 TWh green energy commitment, Brembo has signed a 10-year supply agreement with Axpo Polska. Axpo is the largest producer of energy in Switzerland and an international leader in energy trading and the marketing of solar and wind power.
