Brembo in India has been awarded the Impresa Award 2025 in the category of Community Building & Social Inclusion at the Italian Tech event in Mumbai. Promoted by the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI), the Impresa Awards celebrate excellence among Indo-Italian companies, highlighting initiatives that strengthen bilateral relations.
Brembo was recognized for two social responsibility projects in Pune: the Proaction Janata Vasahat Project and the Door Step School Bhosari Project, which reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to education, inclusion, and community empowerment.
The Proaction Janata Vasahat Project, developed with the NGO Proaction, addresses local social challenges by enhancing education and well-being in underserved neighborhoods. It provides school support, digital learning opportunities through computer labs, and guidance for children. Families are also supported with counselling, monthly health check-ups, and parent–teacher meetings. Since 2024, the project has assisted more than 90 students with their studies, offered psychosocial support to over 60 individuals, and provided health services and counselling to more than 100 families.
The Door Step School Bhosari Project, developed with the NGO Door Step School Foundation, strengthens children’s foundational learning and overall development while encouraging active parental involvement in their education. Aligned with the UN Agenda 2030’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), the program has reached more than 400 children since 2024, with 85% demonstrating strong improvement in learning outcomes.
In communities where resources and awareness of education remain limited, these programs create opportunities for children to learn, grow, and believe in their potential. With this recognition, Brembo in India affirms its role not only as a relevant business in the region but also as a committed contributor to inclusion and positive change for local communities.
