Brembo, the global mobility innovation leader, today announced the establishment of a partnership based on the signing of joint venture agreements with Ningbo Huaxiang Electronic Co., Ltd. (NBHX), a key player in China’s automotive components industry.
The two parties will cooperate on the localization of Sensify™ in China, jointly advancing the intelligent transformation of automotive braking technology.
On top of Brembo’s recent start of production for a leading global manufacturer and signing of new contracts with new customers, this partnership further strengthens Brembo’s strategic progress on Sensify™.
Sensify™ is an intelligent braking platform, designed as a fluid-free by-wire architecture. It stands apart from electromechanical braking (EMB) technologies thanks to next-generation hardware and adaptable software layers. It integrates naturally into software-defined vehicles, enabling manufacturers to introduce advanced features across multiple platforms while ensuring scalability, consistency, and long-term value throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
Within the framework of this partnership, Brembo and NBHX will support the local industrial deployment and large-scale application of Sensify™ in China, contributing to the advancement of next-generation, software-defined vehicle architectures.
